Minnesota Wild Schedule

Part of the NHL since its debut in 2000, the Minnesota Wild has earned one Division Championship title. The team hails from the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and competes as part of the Western Conference and Central Division.

Wearing iron range red, forest green, harvest gold, and Minnesota wheat, the team has shown some promise in recent years that has fans hopeful for a shot at the championships in the coming seasons. Their logo is interesting, as it depicts the silhouette of a wild animal with the eye of the beast being a representation of the North Star. The creature called Nordy is the mascot of the team. It is unclear what animal Nordy is meant to represent but many believe it to be a hybrid of several different native Minnesota animals. The Minnesota Wild team works with several charitable ventures, including their own Minnesota Wild Foundation which supports community and youth interest in hockey through philanthropic events.

The team has not formally retired any numbers aside from Wanye Gretzky, who was universally retired across the entire NHL. They do, however, have one tie to Hall of Famer Jacques Lemaire, who was their head coach at one point.
